Integrated Fixed Towers (IFT) allow border patrol agents to detect, track, identify and classify (DTIC) potential threats at extended ranges of greater than 7.5 miles.
Along the Southwest border, the planned IFT system will allow for the DTIC of Items of Interest and the Command, Control and Coordination of CBP assets in the interception and apprehension of illegal activity while improving agent safety.
